Changing the shoes to the skates

Posted by Krisu (Tampere, Finland) on 7 January 2009 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

Yesterday was a bit windy but not so cold day, only -3°C. (this morning it was -17°C). The ice is thick enough for skating, but it will soon be covered with too much snow for skating. We were on ice for splendid two hours or so. (took appr. 500 shots.....)

So this is the first image from my (very long, hope not too long, haha!) series: ON ICE

By the way, if you'd have time to look this image here. It's the same dock in July where my son is changing his skates.
